Who We Are

Finatext is a growing Japanese born Fintech company that focuses on producing quality mobile app solutions, alongside a selection of both educational and service orientated Finance tools, with a 15 strong team in the UK.

Based out of the WeWork office in Old Street and reporting to the London CEO, this role will be for an experienced Full Stack developer for Finatext’s first mobile trading application created outside of Japan. This project will be one of significant visibility within the global company and will offer the chosen candidate the opportunity to work on a global project with a multitude of skilled teams and personnel.

The ideal candidate will have great problem solving and communication skills and will be comfortable with fast paced design, development and deployment, working in an agile environment. We are looking for ambitious and committed individuals who have worked on iOS, Android & web apps and built complex, responsive and sophisticated apps.

Your Role and Responsibilities

  • Be part of a team responsible for building a new fintech product with reactive front end and scalable back end
  • Develop high quality code conforming to best practices that will be used in production and at scale
  • Attention to detail on design and usability for a consumer facing product
  • Working with the Technology Team, third party software vendors and Business teams to deliver a best in class fintech product

Our Ideal Match

  • Proficient knowledge of any OOP programming language
  • Preferably some experience in a few of these technologies – Python /Java /Javascript / SQL / AWS / React / Angular / Node.js / Rest API / Websockets
  • Graduate or Postgraduate degree in Computer Science
  • Full eligibility to work in the UK without requiring sponsorship
  • Strong communicator and good writing skills
